Serving southeastern North Carolina, including Wilmington, Leland, Southport and surrounding areas.
Greetings! Our construction company was named after an amazing dog named Meatloaf- Loaf for short. This Pug-Chihuahua mix is always ready to go and always there when you need him. As a rescue, he may not possess a purebred pedigree, but he certainly has plenty of talent and street smarts. Just ask anyone who has met him! Our small business specializes in custom building projects, fine craftsmanship and excellent service for our many clients in the Wilmington metropolitan area. Photos of our completed projects are provided below. While the location of many of these varied projects have been centered in and around Southport, and involve indoor and outdoor improvements, repairs and remodeling of craftsman style homes, we gladly offer our services to all homeowners and businesses throughout the Wilmington area.
While there are a number of individuals and firms that specialize in handyman-type services, Loaf Construction does not. We devote ourselves to serving customers by taking their larger customized projects all the way through from start to finish. Whether this project involves flooring, building an entertainment center, a bookcase, closing in a porch for a three-season room, building a deck, an outdoor shower, creating a storage room within a garage, fencing, or other quality improvements of traditional or modern homes- or another project on your mind- we can help. Our clients commend us on the fact that we do what we say, show up as promised, and exceed expectations. All our estimates are free, and it all starts with a phone call.
Please call us at 910-931-0357 to discuss your project and to set up a time for an onsite consultation if you wish. Loaf can be present as well !
“We think Trent did a fantastic job closing in our screened porch and converting it to a three-season room.
We highly recommend him and his work!”

“Trent put up a TREX fence in our side yard and did a fantastic job. He was very reliable and showed up promptly
every day. He had never actually put up a composite fence before, so had to review a video and a lot of written
instructions and was very meticulous to make sure that the job was done right.
In fact, Trent was the only person we contacted, including The Home Depot and Lowe's building services,
who was even willing to work with TREX fencing, but he had every confidence he could do a good job, and he did.
We have seen other projects he has completed for our neighbors and everyone has been very satisfied and pleased with his work.
We highly recommend Trent for any construction or skilled handyman projects."
